Let’s begin with Nora Arendt where she went to the church and told the clergymen that she wants to take the sheep somewhere safe, but they won’t let Nora do it because they believe in her abilities as it came from the Almighty.
But realistically, I think it’s best to think rationally when getting out of sticky situations. And besides, Nora is a young girl who’s vulnerable to other threats like wolves and bandits.
Anyways, here’s Kraft Lawrence where he’s about to sell his suits of armor to the trading company in hopes of making a profit during the Northern Expedition.
Unfortunately, this trading house staff member told Lawrence that the Northern Expedition has been cancelled, meaning that the sets of armor he bought from the Latparron Trading Company are basically paperweight.
For Kraft Lawrence, looks like he got scammed pretty hard that he not only have to sell off his assets, but to pay off his debt to the Latparron Trading Company via hard labor.
Damn, I guess the envoy from Poroson is a bad omen for this merchant as Lawrence is getting desperate in paying off his debt.
Except that no sane merchant would give any mercy to Lawrence as they’ll just give him a few coins or nothing at all. I mean, it’s his fault for purchasing an item that would be useless.
Still, it’s sucks that Lawrence is struggling to get some money and pay off his debt.
So, there’s no other choice for Lawrence but to abandon Holo and try his best at the gambling house. Of course, if gambling didn’t work, Kraft Lawrence will have to hide somewhere remote.
Honestly, I think he could have asked Holo for help, but Lawrence doesn’t want the wise wolf getting involved in further trouble or getting captured by mean people.
And speaking of Holo, it appears that she does want to help Kraft Lawrence out ’cause she’s the damn wise wolf after all.
Of course, Lawrence will have to think of how to get enough money to pay off his debt in such a short amount of time.
That’s where Lawrence proposed to Mr. Remerio that he and his companion Holo will smuggle gold to pay off his debt. Then again, Mr. Remerio thinks that it’s ridiculous to smuggle gold without being spotted by the Church.
On the other hand, here’s Holo where she told Mr. Remerio that some of his staff are planning to abandon ship as the Remerio Trading Company is done for thanks to Kraft Lawrence’s bad purchase of goods.
So yes, looks like Mr. Remerio has no other choice but to follow Lawrence’s ridiculous plan. Of course, the merchant will have to recruit someone who can hide the gold.
And that would be Nora Arendt where the shepherd learned Lawrence’s risky plan. You know, it would be nice if they talk it somewhere quiet instead of a public place.
But yes, it appears that Nora will have to accept Lawrence’s plan in which the young shepherd will be rewarded handsomely. Then again, she’s worried about the risk as if the Church learned of this crime, Nora will have a fate worse than death.
One more thing, I’m curious on why the Northern Expedition got cancelled in the first place? Unless Mother Nature is involved in putting the hunters into hibernation or the Church got heavily involved in its cancellation, it’ll remain a mystery.
Anyways, tune in next time where I hope for the best for Kraft Lawrence and his allies. Otherwise, I think his dream of becoming a successful businessman will be nothing more than a pipe dream.
