Previously on Heroman… Joey, Psy, and Prof. Denton continues where they left off in last week’s episode after dealing with the steel ball and the evacuation of all citizens in Center City. Their current situation…
Surviving the onslaught of the Skrugg Army!
At the Skrugg base, Will and Nick were released from their cell. But instead of releasing them, the Skrugg did something more sinister to the two captives…
Meanwhile at their base, Joey repairs Heroman by replacing the arm while Prof. Denton plans for their survival and examination of the Skrugg.
Of course, Joey needs to power up the Prof’s computer rig! Then, Prof. Denton comes of with a plan…
A guitar with an attached amp! (Are you implying that songs can stop enemies just like in Macross 7?) He theorized that the Skruggs are suspectable to soundwaves that weakens their nervous system, thus he gives the guitar to Psy so he can cripple them.
The trio head outside to attack the Skruggs in the shadows with Psy acting as the dispurtor…
…but Joey encounters Lina along the way and joins them.
However, they were ambushed by a team led by a purple Skrugg assassin. Instead of fighting that soldier, he opts to run away.
However, they were soon trapped by another Skrugg assassin, colored in murky yellow, and his minions on one side while the purple Skrugg assassin-led Skrugg team traps them on the other side! With nowhere to run, Joey and Heroman have no choice but to attack them to break free.
Both the purple Skrugg assassin and Heroman are equally matched in terms of combat.
While their battle is raging, Joey was attacked by Skrugg assassin with laser guns…
…but Joey’s bracer managed to absorb the attack while Psy uses the guitar to fend off the assassin.
Heroman powers up, and attacks the assassin using the Heroman Finish! However, the assassin is no match against Heroman’s attacks and simply takes it! Joey and his friends can’t believe it…
But they’ll soon learned that the assassins are actually revealed as Will and Nick, converted using the Skrugg shells earlier. Lina can’t believe it that her brother and Nick have joined to the enemy’s side.
So I guess that these two will join the Skruggs by force… pretty much expected if you watched the opening. However, Prof. Denton is not with them so I don’t know what happened to him on the second half of this episode. We’ll find out about him and Joey’s encounter with Will and Nick as Skrugg assassins on the next episode… (PS: I don’t watch previews, I’ll just find out when I watch the next episode.)
