Shingeki no Kyojin Episodes #22 – #24

Off you go Eren! At least you weren’t “gulped” by that Female Titan down to her “cauldron” full of dead people.

Anyways, this is the penultimate post of Shingeki no Kyojin, covering Episodes 22 to 24!

So yes, their expedition outside the walls was a failure. Not only they didn’t reach Eren’s former home, but they were derailed by the Female Titan. I guess their sacrifices were in vain! Oh, and Eren got another court-martial for wasting precious taxes. *facepalm*

Speaking of the Female Titan, it was also rumored that it was once a member of the 104th Cadet Squad and joined the Military Police as an undercover agent.

Hmm, it seems that the rumors describe a certain Annie Leonhardt according to Armin’s finding.

And he’s right on the money, Annie is the Female Titan! Of course, there’s more to just disrupting the expedition… Not only Annie stole Marco’s maneuver gear, but killed Sauney and Bean during Ep. 15!

Other than that, I guess Annie’s actions will sent her to the military tribunal. But come to think of it, I think she’s out-of-character after that reveal. I usually see her as a stoic lady.

Oh, and as for the rest of the mob, I feel sorry for them! I mean, they successfully grabbed and restrain Annie…

…before transforming into a Titan. In my opinion, this is the first time that a Titan successfully infiltrates Wall Sina, unlike previous invasions where they invaded Wall Maria and Rose (in which the Titan successfully breached the former).

At least the Female Titan didn’t bring any of her lesser minions, unlike the failed expedition where her comrades eat her body to hide her secrets.

Anyways, it’s the final showdown at the Stohess District next week. As far as the King is concerned, I think Eren needs to have big balls in order to defeat Annie Leonhardt…

…by being a Titan of course! Oh well, on to the last episode!
