The moment when Mitsuki stop calling her brother “Onii-chan!”…
…sunk Hiromi’s heart a lot!
Anyways, it’s been a long time but here’s another Kyoukai no Kanata episode. This time, this episode sets 3 years before the start of the series.
This episode begins when Mitsuki and Hiromi are taking Akihito Kanbara back to their clan as ordered by Izumi.
When things are about to ease out…
…they were suddenly attacked. Damn, what a party-crasher!
Hey guys and girls, let’s play a short quiz to guess which these tentacles belong to?
Well, time’s up! It’s Miroku Fujima and he’s responsible for ruining their extraction of Akihito Kanbara.
There’s nothing rage-worthy when this guy is around! But don’t worry, he’ll get owned later by Izumi in the final episode.
Meanwhile, Mitsuki and Hiromi will have to deal with an enraged Akkey. Thanks for making this harder for them, Miroku!
Also, this is where Hiromi got his scar from Akihito. He maybe alive but its scar is too deep to heal.
So the only way to stop a berserk half-youmu is either kill him with extreme for or give him a medicine which contains drops of cursed blood.
While the former is harder to pull off given that the Nase family wanted Akihito to live, the latter method is strange even though it’s easy to do. In fact, it was handed out by a nameless kunoichi out of nowhere.
Whether that girl is related to either the Kanbara family or the cursed Kuriyama clan is up to question, but the important thing is that Hiromi and Mitsuki stopped Akihito from doing more harm and successfully took him to their custody. Not to mention giving Akihito a hand under his armpit from Hiromi which is kinda gay in my book!
But that’s it for Kyoukai no Kanata Episode 0. While this series is begging for another season, Kyoto Animation is too busy on Free! Eternal Summer plus their upcoming LN Adaptation from the author that brought you Full Metal Panic!
And as Mirai Kuriyama prepares to depart in search for Akihito in the TV series, seems Kyoto Animation have already announced that a movie sequel to Kyoukai no Kanata will be made in the future.
Anyway, it’s farewell for now!
