By the way, I’m gonna drop both Bikini Warriors and Sore ga Seiyuu! The former is just short and unimpressive in terms of fan-service, while the latter is somewhat interesting but I have no time for it.
01. Aoharu x Kikanjuu
Anyways, I’m gonna replace Sore ga Seiyuu! with another survival game anime series. Instead of girls, Aoharu x Kikanji has pretty guys getting serious on becoming the best survival team game in Japan. Oh yeah, and the main character Hotaru Tachibana is actually a girl dressed up as a cute boy!
What can I say? Brain’s Base pulled all the stop when it comes to visual effects, but it feels weird having real gun sounds where they use toy firearms in a survival game. On the other hand, I have to say that Mikako Komatsu did a great job on voicing a brash character like Hotaru.
Speaking of Hotaru, I hope she kept her real gender a secret ’cause Toy ☆ Gun Gun only allows guys on the team.
02. Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai
Here’s another Gagaga Bunko light novel adaptation by J.C.Staff where it’s a satire take on Shintaro Ishihara’s censorship laws, but it turned up to eleven where every porn or sexual jokes are banned. Say, how do they procreate without stimulation anyway? I mean, the population will decline even further!
Luckily, there is a terrorist group called SOX where they defy the law by spreading porn and other harmful materials to ignorant fools. Oh, and that girl on this picture is actually part of SOX!
So with that said, this show reminds me of Seitokai Yakuindomo but turned up a notch (as well as censorship) in terms of churning sexual jokes. And despite of that, I still enjoy watching ShimoSeka! I’m hoping that J.C.Staff continue their good run on this series.
03. Non Non Biyori Repeat
Here’s another season of Non Non Biyori by SILVER LINK. And while they did a great job on making luscious scenery of the countryside as well as that soothing soundtrack, it seems that this second season is a “repeat” of the first one.
But hey, what’s important is that you have Renge Miyauchi. Just don’t forget doing the “Nyanpasu!” pose, Ren-chon!
04. Denpa Kyoushi
And finally, I’m gonna end this post with Denpa Kyoushi. Sure that it’s terrible-looking as well as hearing Rena Matsui’s “meh” voice, but Junichirou Kagami has new challenges to face and he almost went to Switzerland together with Tim Bernards Lynn.
Speaking of new challenges, he has to help Madoka Kuramachi because she’s forced to marry a CEO. But seriously, that trope happened before during the Fairy Dance arc from Sword Art Online!
