Summer 2015: The end of the rest…

This post is brought you by Wakaba Kohashi from Wakaba Girl, a Manga Time Kirara adaptation written by Yui Hara who is best known for Kiniro Mosaic.

This short anime series is about Wakaba Kohashi and her friends, as she wants to be a “gyaru” instead of a princess since Wakaba-chan came from a rich family. Then again, I think Wakaba should aim on becoming a normal girl instead!

Oh and by the way, this series has Ari Ozawa (Kurumi Ebisuzawa) and Mao Ichimichi (Yuuri Wakasa) playing as Wakaba Kohashi and Mao Kurokawa, respectively.

01. Aoharu x Kikanjuu

Anyways, I’m gonna start this post with Aoharu x Kikanjuu as the second half of this survival game anime got serious and depressing. You see, Toy ☆ Gun Gun lost to Hoshishiro at TGC which this series went to a downward spiral. Fuck that sadistic Midori!

Anyways, Hotaru tried to quit playing survival games but she couldn’t. So, she decides to rebuild the team and save Matsuoka-san in her own way by challenging him to a duel until she won. So while Toy ☆ Gun Gun has finally got back up again, seems that Hotaru didn’t tell both Mattsun and Yukimura that she’s a girl.

With that said, it was a disappointing ending where Hoshishiro got away with murder and Hotaru’s identity reveal got cut! And while this series is hooking me for a sequel, I rather not watch it nor expect it as I prefer watching either Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu or Sabagebu!

02. Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai

Moving onto ShimoSeka where things get serious after stopping Sophia’s proposal of putting chastity belts to the masses, which will put their population decline into a downward spiral as they’ll become ignorant when it comes to sex (as well as having complications when it comes to urinating/defecating).

Anyways, SOX is having a crisis as they must stop a crazy terrorist (who look like Makoto Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin) from tarnishing their pacifist efforts of promoting sexual jokes. And seriously, White Peak wants nothing more than getting sullied white underwear while taking hostages.

Luckily, Ayame “Blue Snow” Kajo and her comrades (with the help of Anna Nishikinomiya) stopped White Peak from doing heinous acts in the name of SOX. And seriously, SOX only wants to promote sexual jokes without resorting to violence, which is why Kosuri Onigashira (as evidence by her phallic hair) learned the hard way after siding to White Peak. Good thing she returned to SOX afterwards.

It was a fun series to watch in the end, but try watching the AT-X version if you want less censorship (no nipples unfortunately).

03. Non Non Biyori Repeat

While I’m keeping it short in regards to Non Non Biyori Repeat, I have to say that the second season is much better than the first even though it inserted some stories in-between. From Renge trying to ride a bicycle to Hotaru enjoying the firefly light show, it was a step-up from Season 1.

I enjoyed watching SILVER LINK’s anime adaptation and I’ll never forget Ren-chon and the gang doing cute things at the countryside!

04. Denpa Kyoushi

However, there’s a series that I want to forget was A-1 Pictures’ Denpa Kyoushi as Junichirou Kagami’s adventures has come to an end!

Sure that he saved the Komiya twins as well as helping his high school friend Toune Yamato on making the “Anywhere Door” transportation portal (which I don’t know if that experiment was a success or not), but the important thing is that he yearned to do these things. That’s why Kagami-sensei returned to his teaching duties at Icho Academy.

But you know what, I don’t care if A-1 Pictures will make another season of Denpa Kyoushi as this series is terrible in terms of animation. Oh, and not to mention having Rena Matsui’s unrefined voice that you want to shut her up when voicing Suzune Kagami. In any case, I’m glad that this nightmare is over!

Anyways, it’s time to close Summer 2015 with Okusama ga Seitokaichou!

Yes, they got closer after being a couple… somewhat. However, they didn’t go all the way as Ui Wakana doesn’t like the cold. Damn, that’s disappointing!

On the other hand, I think I should watch other Summer 2015 shows like Himouto! Umaru-chan and Sore ga Seiyuu! in my spare time. But until then, see ya in Fall 2015…
