The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato-chan Episode #17

“Kyon-kun, phone call!”

Hello everyone, remember this scene where Kyon is stuck in an “endless recursion of time”?

Well, it’s back as an extra episode for this Haruhi Suzumiya spin-off! Let’s hope that it won’t repeat like in 2009…

Anyways, it’s your usual summer vacation episode where the SOS- I mean North High’s Literature Club enjoy swimming to their hearts’ content…

…and compete in Haruhi’s crazy games that involves crossing various obstacles just to eat fruits as a prize!

No, and I don’t mean Mikuru’s muskmelons. Oh Kyon, you should do your summer homework while you’re at it!

Nope, Haruhi said that they should do various things in August such as doing part-time jobs, stargazing, going to a karaoke bar, and joining a local festival to see the fireworks.

At this point, it’s gonna be Endless Eight all over again…

Luckily, Kyon told Haruhi that he didn’t do his homework and he needs some help. Um, you should copy someone’s workbook instead!

But Ryouko Asakura-sensei says that Kyon must do his homework the hard way. And that means being tutored by the stern teacher herself!

Of course, he’ll be easily distracted when you have Haruhi Suzumiya playing Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution with Yuki Nagato.

Unfortunately for Yuki-chan, Haruhi’s unpredictability and her beginner’s luck when playing Wolf Hawkfield utterly dominated Yuki-chan when playing Akira Yuki.

Speaking of Yuki-chan, she’ll be fine as Yuki Nagato can finish her homework in one night…

See, she really finished her homework just now. Seriously Kyon, just copy her workbook in the first place!

But that’s about it for “The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato-chan”. I’ll be very surprised to have another season of the main series. I mean, it’s possible for Full Metal Panic! to have Season 3 after 10 years of waiting!

Speaking of waiting, I think I should watch FMP! from the beginning in the future… For now, it’s time to say good-bye to Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki Nagato, and the rest of North High’s Literature Club. Fuck it, let’s call it the SOS Brigade for nostalgia!
