Winter 2015: The end of the rest…

This post is brought you by Chie Satonaka from Oya-san wa Shishunki! as looking at Chie-chan in her yukata is so damn cute!

By the way, I’m starting to restore some images from my previous post and it’ll take a long time to have it up and running. Oh yeah and get hype for μ’s Final LoveLive! ~μ’sic Forever~ as it’s fast approaching, and I have to say that my post for the final episode of Musaigen no Phantom World will be delayed in that time.

01. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

I’ll start this post with Iron-Blooded Orphans as Tekkadan finally completed their mission of escorting Kudelia Aina Bernstein as well as putting back Togonosuke Makanai from power, which would damper Gjallarhorn’s control over Arbrau as Earth as one economic bloc that opposes the organization.

But you know what, the only thing that benefited Gjallarhorn’s setbacks is none other than McGills Fareed as he not only kill Gaelio Bauduin and let Carta Issue die at the hands of Tekkadan, but he seize most of the organization’s power by exposing Gjallarhorn’s corruption thanks to Ein Dalton’s transformation into a monstrous Mobile Suit. Now the only thing that worries me is how McGills Fareed will handle Gjallarhorn and Mars once the second half returns in Fall 2016.

One more thing, while Tekkadan (and Teiwaz) suffered losses including Biscuit Griffon during their operation of putting Makanai back in power, I’m surprised that some characters like Azee Gurumin, Lafter Frankland, and Norba Shino survived from Graze Ein’s wrath. In any case, let’s hope it won’t turn for the worse when Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans returns in October!

02. Luck & Logic

Next up is Luck & Logic where I knew that Orga Brakechild has Trance’d with Lucifer to become the final boss and achieving Over-Trance in the process.

However, Yoshichika Tsurugi and Athena achieved Over-Trance which is different from what he made a few years ago. While he succeeded on beating Orga and Lucifer and thus saving Septpia, Yoshichika will have to give up his memories of being a Logicalist and return to a generic character. On the other hand, Athena will find Yoshichika’s Logic Card and when she does, she’ll be with him forever.

But you know what, this series is just promoting a children’s trading card game and while it has a decent ending, Dogakobo should have made Luck & Logic into something far more amazing than this!

03. Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle

Moving onto Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle as Lux Arcadia not only scored more girls like Philuffy Aingram, Celestia Ralgris, and surprisingly Yoruka Kirihime, but he also saved the New Kingdom of Astimata from the rebel army aligned to the Old Arcadia Empire led by Hayes. Although the kingdom is still intact after the rebellion, I have a feeling that Fugil Arcadia will stir more trouble for Lux in the future.

Speaking of future installments, I think Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle won’t have another season is because Lerche and the production committee made a rushed adaptation just to boost light novel sales, which I wasn’t impressed with this series at all. While it wasn’t a trainwreck, this series is just forgettable at worst!

04. Osomatsu-san

And now, I’m gonna end this post with Osomatsu-san as it ends with a nonsensical baseball episode after building up drama from Episode 24, where the Matsuno sextuplets decides to go on their separate ways and have decent jobs (except for Osomatsu).

But despite ending this series on the weirdest way possible, Studio Pierrot did a stunning job of introducing Fujio Akatsuka’s classic gag series to modern audience! Now then, I wish the studio revive another classic series like Anmitsu Hime and Tensai Bakabon, although the latter won’t capture the success of Osomatsu-san unless the series reinvent themselves.

Anyways, that’s about it for the rest of shows airing Winter 2015 as I end this post with Galko and her friends from Oshiete! Galko-chan. Even though she look like a slut, Galko has both Otako and Ojou at her side!

Now then, I’ll see you next time where I make plans for Spring 2016…
