Well everyone, the funeral rites are over and it’s time to pack up and make our escape from the Kabane!
On the other hand, looks like Kurusu knocked Ikoma out to his senses. He does that because Kabaneri is still considered monsters!
By the way, it turns out that Kabaneri needed blood in order to stay human. Then again, it seems that both Ikoma and Mumei are vampires.
Anyways, the elders told Ayame-sama that the iron train will take its route to the mountains. Oh, and they’ll separate the Kabaneri and its sympathizers from the rest of the them to die.
But you know what, these guys are idiots because both Ikoma and Mumei are essential for saving their asses in the first place!
Also, the mountain route is filled with Kabane in every nook and cranny, waiting to pounce the iron train at any moment!
And they thought that their train is an impregnable fortress, huh? Not so much here!
By the way, there’s a new kind of Kabane called Wazatori who are far more dangerous because of their combat experience they earned before succumbing to the virus.
Those who encountered a Wazatori would end up being dead faster than being bitten by a Kabane!
With that said, time for the bushi to push the Kabane back from where they belong!
Of course, it won’t be easy though as Kurusu’s men are overwhelmed by the sheer number of them!
On the other hand, there’s Ayame-sama who shows that she can fight too… using a steam-powered bow and arrow.
Sure that it’s impractical to make one in real-life, but it’s cool to see her in action!
Meanwhile, here’s Ikoma and Mumei as the rush towards the steam locomotive.
Unfortunately for Mumei though, her time is up and it’s time for Mumei to take her rest, leaving Ikoma to do the clean-up against the Kabane and that Wazatori too!
Speaking of the Wazatori, it claimed its first victim and that’s Kurusu.
But don’t worry though, he’ll lived… unless the sword that the Wazatori wield contain Kabane blood in which Kurusu would turn into one.
Anyways, Ikoma is fast approaching at the steam locomotive, but he’s starting to give into his instincts.
Fortunately, Ayama-sama offered him blood even though cutting her arm is almost fatal because it’s closer to her wrist!
And yet, it did work to some extent as Ikoma snapped out of his Kabane instincts after drinking Ayame’s blood!
Well, looks like Ayame needs to eat a lot in order to get fresh blood in her system. Oh, and Ikoma will not only become dependent on Ayame’s blood, but his friend Takumi as well!
With that said, time for Ikoma to slay the Wazatori and it seems that after countless training by Mumei, he’s skilled at beating his opponent…
…leading to its kill with his trusty pile driver gun! Rokkon shoujo indeed!
Well then, another Kabane hoard was wiped out but the casualties are far greater for the civilians and the bushi. Anyways, onto the next episode!
This just looks like such an entertaining show. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
