The Asterisk War Episode #23

Here’s Jolbert Riessfeld as he talk to Ayato Amagiri about marrying Julis-Alexia van Riessfeld. He’s not joking by the way as King Jolbert is serious of making Ayato as Julis’ future husband!

Also, Jolbert forbids Julis on participating in the Gryps Festa as he fears that that Integrated Enterprise Foundation would abandon him in favor of Princess Julis, where she’ll be forced to marry someone from the foundation.

Yeah, this is very troublesome for the Gluhen Rose!

Speaking of Julis’ woes, there’s one more in the form of Ophelia Landlufen who is a student from Le Wolfe Black Institute and Julis-Alexia van Riessfeld’s former childhood friend.

Since Ophelia is linked to the Tyrant, I bet that Dirk Eberwein ordered her to stop both Ayato and Julis in fear that they’ll join Claudia Enfield’s team! What a bastard Dirk was!

Speaking of Julis, she’s delighted that Ophelia has returned as the Witch of the Resplendent Flames has some questions to ask for, such as why she disappeared from the orphanage and joined Le Wolfe!

Unfortunately, Ophelia Landlufen has no time to answer Julis’ silly questions as she’s rambling about destiny and stuff!

Also, Ophelia is quite stronger than Julis-Alexia van Riessfeld…

So much that she beat Gluhen Rose by using Ophelia’s shadow appendages to strangle her until Julis was knocked out cold!

Good thing Ayato Amagiri managed to grab Julis before landing to the ground. C’mon, having broken bones for the princess isn’t good!

In any case, seems that Ophelia Landlufen is done making Julis-Alexia van Riessfeld as Dirk Eberwein told her to retreat. But it’s not over yet though…

Because this old guy from last week’s episode, now named Gustave Marlowe from the terrorist group Jade Dusk, is here to finish both Ayato and Julis off.

Speaking of Gustave, I wonder if the Tyrant hired him to assassinate both Ayato Amagiri and Julis-Alexia van Riessfeld?

In any case, Gustave Marlowe has decided to send his dogs Cerberus and Orthrus to eat their flesh.

Yeah, it’s nasty but that’s how he roll when accomplishing his mission for monetary gain!

Unfortunately, both dogs were killed off by Claudia Enfield using her Pan-Dora. Since both Cerberus and Orthrus were easily defeated, Gustave Marlowe made his escape.

For now, Ayato Amagiri will have to deal with Gustave Marlowe on the final episode. C’mon, Claudia Enfield expects both Ayato and Julis to join the Gryps Festa even though the latter was told by her brother not to participate.

As for Ophelia Landlufen, that’ll be saved for future seasons should Kadokawa told A-1 Pictures to adapt the later volumes from the novels.
