Let’s continue from last week’s episode as Ikta Solork and his friends are stuck in Kioka Republic.
And yes, Ikta got spotted by guards but he tries to get out of this situation by pretending to be an asylum seeker. Of course, the guys from Kioka won’t consider Princess Chamille Kitra Katjvanmaninik as a refugee.
Then again, it was a trap set up by Ikta Solork which the Kioka guards got hooked, lined, and cut their napes off as Yatorishino Igsem demonstrates.
Sorry for those guards who got caught in Ikta’s devious trap!
But hey, their bodies won’t be ruined by Ikta and his friends as they’ll gave the deceased a proper burial.
Also, he took the soulstones from the spirits in hopes that they’ll be treated well along with the deceased.
After all, both the Katjvarna Empire and the Kioka Republic shared the same god Alderamin, so it’s wise that Ikta should please the lord by giving the enemy a brief funeral rite.
Now then, it’s time for Ikta Solork and his merry friends to get out of Kioka as fast as they can. But how can they pull it off?
Simple, by having Ikta pose as a Kioka guard where he’ll escort Princess Chamille, Yatorishino and her friends across the Katjvarna border.
And the reason why he escort them to the empire is because a person who stole the blimp demanded to return them to their homeland. Of course, it was all planned by Ikta as he’s deceiving the guards and get out of Kioka scot-free!
Well, looks like they’re return to the empire without any injuries. Isn’t it great?
Of course, they’ll receive bad news that the eastern part of Katjvarna was conquered by the Kioka Republic. It’s a big blow for the empire as it suffered heavy losses.
However, they received rewards from the emperor due to their rescue of Chamille Kitra Katjvanmaninik. Yeah, there’s a silver lining amidst the brewing war!
Anyways, these five people will become Imperial Knights, meaning that they’ll become soldiers or even officers.
Of course, there’s one person who doesn’t like the rewards… And that’ll be none other than Ikta Solork as he was forced to become a soldier.
Also, he has personal problems regarding with his family as Ikta’s mother Yuhka was one of the emperor’s concubines while his father Bada was a dishonored general. Oh and forgot to tell you that Ikta’s real family name is Sankrei.
Unfortunately, both of his parents died miserably and Ikta felt bitter about it that he vent is anger at Princess Chamille. Yeah, Yatorishino Igsem won’t like having the princess mishandled by Ikta San- I mean Solork!
From now on, things won’t be great for Ikta as he’ll be fighter, not a lecherous lover!
It is going to be interesting to see whether Ikta does take on the new role or if he tries to fight against the way things are going. Given his highly logical nature, he probably won’t rock the boat too far but I’m sure he’ll find someway to express his displeasure.
