Let’s start this episode with Hazuki Katou and while she’s making progress on playing the tuba, seems that Kitauji is participating to a concert near the station.
While they’re busy preparing for the national competition, Kitauji High School’s concert band club will have a spanner in the works…
…as Asuka Tanaka’s mother is forcing her daughter to resign the club, because she wants Asuka to have the same career path as hers. As much as Mrs. Tanaka getting a tad bit worried about her daughter, it’ll be Asuka’s choice on what path she’ll take!
Of course, the concert band club is worried that she might not come to the club anymore, which will affect their morale in the upcoming nationals. Rumor has it that she’s already resigned which is a downer to some.
Fortunately, Haruka Ogasawara wants the club members to have faith on her because even though Asuka is far more capable, which she assures them that she’ll be back, Haruka wants everyone to back her up as the club president!
Well, I hope that Haruka Ogasawara will be okay because she’s one of the unsung heroes on keeping the concert band together.
Now it’s time for the concert at the train station and while Kitauji is making preparations, Kumiko Oumae met a friend from Rikka High School.
Whether Rikka is included in the national competition or not, there’s one particular participant who are the current champions and that’s Seira Girls’ Academy. Of course, we’ll meet them at a later date!
Meanwhile, Asuka Tanaka has returned. See, I knew that she’ll be back, but then again there’s no indication if she made up with her mother or not.
Regardless, Asuka-sempai is back to perform with Kitauji’s concert band club!
And she came at the right time as they’re up to perform at station goers. Gotta say that Kitauji High School’s performance is still fantastic!
On the other hand, looks like Haruka Ogasawara is trying the baritone saxophone with great results. Glad that she’s killing it with the baritone sax!
And that’s about it for Episode 7 of Sound! Euphonium Season 2. Of course, there might be some turbulence ahead on the next episode…
