Fall 2016: The end of the rest…

This post is brought you by the cast of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka?, as they’re about to take the plunge into the hot springs after defeating the boss at the 18th floor!

Well, you may thank Bell Cranel for beating the boss due to being the grandson of Zeus. RRRRROMANCE~!

01. Cheating Craft

Let’s start this post with Cheating Craft and I have to say that this short-length series is so random that it has nothing to do about tests anymore, from usual fights to parodies of various anime tropes.

Y’know, it wasn’t that great but kudos to Blade and Haolines Animation League for their effort. Still, would it be better if they make a better product instead of this mediocre one?

02. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

Let’s go to Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans as I introduce you to Rustal Elion, the commander of the Arianhod Fleet who considered to be a threat to McGills Fareed’s reformation plans of Gjallarhorn. While he’s joined by Julieta Julis and Iok Kujan, Rustal Elion has some plans for Gjallarhorn albeit retaining the status-quo in some parts of the organization. In any case, both Rustal and McGills are at odds against each other. Hell, they might even start a proxy war between Teiwaz factions with Rustal controlling Jasley Donomikols’ JPT against McGills and his alliance with Tekkadan.

Speaking of Tekkadan, I feel that a tragedy awaits for Orga Itsuka and his family. Even though he wants to rule Mars for his family, Orga might face his downfall if he’s not careful. Hell, he’s worried that his right-hand man Mikazuki Augus might end up being completely paralyzed after sacrificing his right half of his body to Barbatos Lupus in order to destroy an autonomous Mobile Armor.

In any case, the 1st half felt good and I’m looking forward for the 2nd half! Let’s hope that there would be a light at the end of the tunnel for Tekkadan.

03. Drifters

Moving onto Drifters as Toyohisa Shimazu rallied the elves and dwarves on capturing the Orte Empire as the country that Adolf Hitler built is beyond salvation. Well, you may thank Count Saint-Germain for selling the empire to the Drifters. Even though Orte has been conquered, there’s still threat from the Ends as they continue their campaign on destroying the world.

In any case, it was one hell of a ride on watching Drifters! There’s nothing more I could say but giving kudos to Hoods Entertainment for this fantastic adaptation, and I’ll be looking forward for the second season in the near future!

04. Keijo!!!!!!!!

Next up is Keijo!!!!!!!! where Nozomi Kaminashi and her classmates at Setouchi are facing the students at Suruga Keijo School for the coveted East-West War. Sure that Setouchi are painted as underdogs, but Nozomin and her mates showed a thing or two against the likes of Maya Sakashiro and countless aces from the Kanto region.

In the end, Setouchi pulled an upset against Suruga and I have to say that it was a satisfying end to this awesome anime about girls whipping their asses and tits against each other! Good job XEBEC for the anime adaptation, but I’m hoping that there would be an uncensored version in the Blu-ray release (unless they keep the lens flare too).

05. Girlish Number

Let’s go to Girlish Number where I suppose that there would be a tragedy at the end of this series. I mean, Chitose Karasuma was swept away in favor of a young seiyuu named Nanami Sakuragaoka which she’s endangered of quitting her career, while Kuzu-P is acting like a trash after screwing up the first season of KuuSure until his love interest got taken away (or something). From what I said, this show would end on a depressing note.

However, it wasn’t meant to be for Girlish Number as Chitose Karasuma got her resolve to act like a professional seiyuu instead of being a prima donna who actually sucks at acting, all while having the second season of KuuSure becoming successful that the author bounced back from his slump and started making the latest volume. In any case, Chitose got her happy endingn including Kuzu-P… even though I wanted him to fall down and suffer what he has done in the anime industry.

In any case, I’m surprised that Diomedia did the impossible of making a satire anime based on Wataru Watari’s novels, even though Girlish Number is a multimedia project. I’m glad that they did a good job over Mayoiga (even though that show is so bad yet it’s so good)!

06. Okusama ga Seitokaichou!+!

Lastly, here’s the second season of Okusama ga Seitokaichou! and sure that it has nudity, but it seems that the relationship between Hayato Izumi and Ui Wakana is stuck at status-quo. Yeah, they haven’t had sex yet and this one came from Izumi’s lewd thoughts so it doesn’t count.

It’s a good short-length series but damn Hayato got cock-blocked every single damn time! If only they copied the main couple from Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken as Kaoru and Hajime made lots of sex afterwards…

Anyways, let’s end this post with the Matsuno sextuplets as Osomatsu-san returns for a year-end special sponsored by the Japan Racing Association!

Sadly, this will be the last time that Osomatsu-san will air in TV Tokyo as Todomatsu’s seiyuu Miyu Irino will study abroad next year. However, Osomatsu-san will return someday… But y’know what, how about a revival of Tensai Bakabon for the modern audience shall we?
