Well, looks like Tanya Degurechaff’s load is lightened now that she has employees to manage (and blame if they screw up).
On the other hand, her assault mage battalion has a few enlisted soldiers. I guess Tanya’s standards are a bit high!
So, Tanya made a training regimen where soldiers must evade a barrage of mortal shells, some of which have live ammunition to spice things up.
Of course, this is just one of Tanya’s training regimen… from HELL! Oh, and they must complete it in one month or he/she would face demotion or death!
But eventually, most of the soldiers have passed and become tough mages fit for Tanya’s standards!
Also, Tanya Degurechaff was promoted to Major due to accomplishing of re-training the soldiers. Of course, she needs to deliver results to please the top imperial brass or her battalion would be useless in combat!
Anyways, their first deployment will be at the south-eastern garrison where the Empire is fighting against the Dukedom of Dakia.
Then again, it’s more of a turkey shoot-out than a serious battle as Dakian forces are pretty much out-gunned. And Lt. Colonel Erich von Lehrgen thinks that the Dukedom is a threat to the Empire, where it clearly shows how outdated their military doctrine compared to the imperial forces.
So with that said, the Dukedom of Dakia is completely crippled thanks to Tanya Degurechaff and her 203rd air mage battalion. Well, I feel bad for the Dukedom as it parallels to Poland during the start of World War 2. Of course, Major Degurechaff couldn’t become overconfident just because she turned wimps into hardened soldiers!
