Atom: The Beginning Episode #02

Well, here’s something interesting as this shady person is aiming for one certain robot…

…which happened to be A106. Oh, and it turns out that the person happened to be a robot!

Anyways, let’s move onto Hiroshi Ochanomizu and Umataro Tenma as they’re here to present their hypothesis regarding autonomy in robots, especially when they told them how A106’s Bewusstsein System works which gives it human-like consciousness.

Although their work is revolutionary, the students and teachers at Nerima University think that Ochanomizu and Tenma’s ideas are crazy, as well as a waste of time and money because they’ll rather support Moriya Tsutsumi’s research over these two crackpots!

Of course, there’s one supporter who believes that their theory would work. That person happened to be Professor Saruta and he thinks that Hiroshi Ochanomizu and Umataro Tenma’s idea would revolutionize the future of robots!

Anyways, it looks like the robot is hunting down A106 who is currently on stand-by inside Laboratory 7.

Of course, the hulking robot will have to face Ran Ochanomizu who was supposed to sneak in and gather junk parts, but she decided to defend A106 because it’s important for her and Hiroshi.

Then again, Ran provoking the robot is very dangerous and she might get herself killed!

On the other hand, seems that there’s one more person who is interested in A106, even if it means eliminating Ran Ochanomizu.

Yeah, it turns out that this woman is controlling that hulking robot from afar! I wonder what she wants from A106?

But speaking of A106, looks like the robot has arrived to rescue Ran-chan from certain death. Of course, Six needs to beat that hulking robot into pieces…

So, A106 decides to finish the robot off with a single punch that flies it off towards the sky!

Well, that robot got scrapped thanks to Six’s strength…

…except that it wasn’t enough to destroy the hulking robot as it revealed its true form.

Of course, the robot was ordered to retreat for the time being as it wants Six’s combat data.

But there you have it as the robot goes away. Then again, I think it’ll return for a rematch against A106!

As for Six, looks like he managed to save Ran as he asks her if she’s okay, which Ran responded with a thumbs-up. Of course, the events that happened on this episode will remain a secret to both Ochanomizu and Tenma.

Anyways, I have to say that A106 is starting to become like human, but having a strength of a thousand men would potentially turn Six into a god which won’t help the future of robots. With that said, I’ll see you next week!
