Spring 2017: The rest of the field… 2nd Half!

This post is brought you by Moguro Fukuzou, also known as the Laughing Salesman who will give you something that’ll ease your hearts, but read the fine print first or you’ll get a horrible fate. In short, don’t fuck with Fukuzou!

By the way, this show (Well, the revival of it) is based on a manga by Fujiko Fujio A in which he and his partner Fujiko F. Fujio are responsible for their best works like Obake no Q-tarou, Doraemon, Ninja Hattori-kun, etc.

01. Frame Arms Girl

I’ll start this post with Frame Arms Girl and I have to say that Ao Gennai is getting more FA Girls lately after Gourai have beaten them. Currently, Ao-chan has 7 FA Girls and it might increase with more girls that are powerful than Gourai.

Meanwhile, Frame Arms Girls is getting better just a bit, but it’s still couldn’t get away from being a Busou Shinki-ripoff. But on the upside though, Bukiko is a nice addition to this series as she shows how to make better plastic models to both Ao Gennai and the viewers. After all, plastic model building is serious business!

02. Fukumenkei Noise

We’ll move onto and things are about to become interesting as Nino Arisugawa becomes the new vocalist of the punk band “In NO Hurry to Shout”. But of course, there’s a story behind it…

It turns out that Kanade Yuzuriha is actually the front-man of the band “In NO Hurry to Shout” as Alice but it’s also revealed that Kanade couldn’t sing as he has a throat infection, therefore Yuzuriha lip-syncs most of the time while a female member named Miou Suguri does the singing part. So when Nino became Miou’s replacement, Yuzu can spend most of his time composing new songs.

Meanwhile, it’s also revealed that Momo Sasaki became a professional composer at Möbius Entertainment as he’s kind of a dick when Momo wants to stay away from his childhood friend Nino, because it turns out that he’s composing music to clear up his parents’ debt and Momo doesn’t want her to see him in a pathetic state. In any case, I feel that the drama will be more intense in the second half.

03. Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Gaiden: Sword Oratoria

Next up is DanMachi Gaiden: Sword Oratoria as I have to say that Aiz Wallenstein has some hidden depths and despite being adored by everyone including the likes of Lefiya Viridis and Bell Cranel, it appears that she’s not that aloof where Aiz has some sort of family issues like being called as Aria for example, as well as having doubts of not being stronger that she tries to push herself in order to gain a higher level.

On the other hand though, seems that some gods like Dionysus and Uranus are plotting something that the Loki Familia is concerned about their actions, especially when it involves special magic stones that were dropped from the flytrap flower monsters.

With that said, things are about to get interesting now that the Guild hiding something horrible, as well as Aiz Wallenstein’s past which I feel that it needs to be explored in later episodes… should J.C.Staff do it.

04. My Hero Academia

And lastly, it’s time to end this post with My Hero Academia as Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and the rest of Hero Class A are competing in U.A. High School’s sports festival where they make or break their career as heroes. And despite being the weakest, Midoriya managed to out-wit the competition not just with the support of his friends during the cavalry battle, but also his willpower to overcome obstacles like being brainwashed for instance.

So while Izuku is reaching closer becoming the number one hero in U.A. High School, he should be careful against his rival and it’s not just Katsuki Bakugou, but also Shouto Todoroki who has some issues with his father Endeavor of being forced to surpass All Might. And even if Todoroki surpassed All Might, it might be a hollow victory as the number one hero is losing his quirk day by day. In any case, I wish both Izuku and Shouto good luck on the tournament!

Anyways, that’s about it for this post as I’ll see you again in June for the conclusion of these shows.
