Hmm, I was wondering on whether this guy is none other than Professor Y or not. Turns out, he wasn’t.
In fact, that guy has turned into a familiar face in which both Naoto Miura and RyuZU saw him back in Episode 6. Yes, he’s no Professor Y but he’s driven with vengeance!
Meanwhile, seems that AnchoR’s bloody cube has spat out the head of this familiar cyborg from Episode 5. And look, he’s working fine thanks to Marie Bell Breguet!
Heck, he’s making a conversation with Vainney Halter as they’re actually friends. Then again, the military is so fucked up right now that this male cyborg is just being used as a pawn or something.
But let’s move onto the next scene as Naoto Miura sensed something that’s crawling up to the surface. I wonder if that certain enemy has arrived in Akihabara?
Why it’s none other than this giant automaton, as it arrived at the Akihabara Grid and made a freaking electromagnetic pulse that rendered all gear-based machines inoperable!
This includes Naoto’s precious automatons in which RyuZU and AnchoR just stopped after being shocked by that pulse. Oh, and let’s not forget Vainney Halter too as he got shut down because of it.
At this point, the whole grid is magnetized and the Tokyo government and the military couldn’t do to stop the giant automaton.
In fact, the military decided to purge the whole Akihabara grid because it’s the only solution to this problem.
Of course, it turned out to be a bad idea as the Akihabara grid is connected to various grids around it, meaning that the surrounding districts that made up of Tokyo will fall down too. And seriously, the whole fiasco surrounding the Kyoto grid purge has hurt the government even more.
On the other hand, here’s a new character introduced named Karasawa who is a civilian Meister and a consultant to the Tokyo government.
Then again, it seems that Karasawa can’t help this situation as he has no knowledge about electromagnetic technology nor any ways to destroy the giant automaton Yatsukahagi. Also, it turns out that Karasawa is a spy to his fellow Meister Marie Bell Breguet.
But let’s go back to the Akihabara grid as Naoto Miura felt joy that AnchoR has finally awakened!
Too bad that his headset got wrecked though, but what’s important is that Naoto’s daughter is safe and it turns out that AnchoR generated a lot of heat to counter the electromagnetic pulse.
Meanwhile, Marie Bell Breguet is fine too but she’ll have to take Vainney Halter’s head as his body got busted.
C’mon, what’s important is the head as it has all the memories stored on it. Now then, where’s RyuZU?
Oh, seems that she’s taking a cool-down after generating so much heat that Naoto’s hands got burned. Good thing he placed his wife into a ventilated area because RyuZU’s gears needs some fresh air!
With that said, I have a feeling that Naoto and his friends will have to confront that old guy and destroy Yatsukahagi on the next episode! Still, they need replenish themselves first.
