Shingeki no Kyojin Episode #37

Well everyone, this is a difficult situation for Erwin Smith and his joint task force as the Armored Titan got ballistic and throw his own kin against them.

The result, most of the soldiers are eaten by the titans, just to protect Commander Erwin and rescue both Eren Jaeger and Krista Lenz. What an awful sight it is!

Meanwhile, both Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Jaeger are saved by Hannes as he wants to avenge the death of Eren’s mother by killing the titan.

Yeah, he also has a grudge on that titan that Hannes wants to cut every finger and limb until it’s no longer moving.

But will Hannes finally kill the smiling titan as he told both Eren and Mikasa to retreat?

On the other hand, Krista Lenz told Ymir Fritz that she must live for nothing but themselves as Krista prepares to kill another titan.

Speaking of Ymir, she always protect Krista or Historia all the time. So when Krista told Ymir to live for herself, it appears that her words hit Ymir so much.

Then again, I wonder if Ymir Fritz will return inside the walls?

Now let’s go back to Hannes as the titan captured him and he’s about to get eaten. Eren can’t transform nor do anything but watch his mentor die helplessly!

In any case, Hannes has died and I have to say that this particular titan has not only eaten Eren’s mother, but also his foster father and mentor as well.

It’s truly is a depressing moment for Eren Jaeger than he’s powerless against the titans!

Then again, Mikasa Ackerman told Eren that there’s still hope for him to stand up against the enemy. In fact, Eren Jaeger is the reason why Mikasa is alive as she thanked him for staying at her side all the time.

Of course, given that Mikasa is confessing her love to Eren, I feel that they’ll remain as friends!

In any case, this prompted Eren to stand up and fight against the titan. Well, let’s see what he can do…

With a loud roar, Eren Jaeger mustered his energy as his hands are ready…

…to punch the titan that killed her mother and Hannes. Then again, it didn’t work and I though that he’ll transform into a titan.

However, it appears that a random titan has pounced the smiling titan, which Eren was surprised to see it.

Soon, a horde of titans went in to eat the smiling titan until there’s nothing left! Well, it’s all thanks to Eren Jaeger in which he has the power to control titans.

Meanwhile, here’s Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover as they couldn’t believe that Eren Jaeger can control titans.

So much that Reiner said that Eren might be the elusive Coordinate in which his people are looking for it. Of course, he needs to focus one thing at the moment…

…as Eren Jaeger ordered the titans to attack Reiner and Bertholdt, which they’re caught off-guard upon getting mobbed by them. Well, this is payback for what they did to Eren!

With that said, looks like Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman have join the others as they make their getaway while the Armored Titan is being surrounded by its own kind.

On the other hand though, there’s one person who’ll leave behind…

…as Ymir Fritz bid farewell to Krista Lenz (or Historia Reiss) as she wants to live her life on her own.

Which means that she’s joining both Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover on their cause to punish humanity for their sins.

Gotta say that Krista is gonna miss her dear friend. Of course, they’ll meet again as enemies in the future!

In any case, Commander Erwin Smith’s joint task force has finally got out of the battlefield and into the walls. While they managed to rescue Eren Jaeger, most of Erwin’s soldiers were lost and the likes of Ymir, Reiner, and Bertholdt got away.

Of course, what they’ll learn upon returning to the walls will be a terrifying one, as Hanji Zoe and Conny Springer told both Erwin Smith and Levi that humans becoming titans is highly-possible upon checking Conny’s parents. Then again, there’s not enough evidence to prove that titans are actually human beings, so it seems that Erwin Smith and his fellow soldiers will have to dig deeper in order to reach the truth of their existence.

Well then, that’s about it for the second season of Shingeki no Kyojin. While I felt that it wasn’t exciting as the first season, I’d say that the revelations that were shown on Season 2 has got me hooked that I feel that needs another one… But fret not though as WIT Studio will make Season 3 for next year, so it appears that the future of this series is safe for now!
