Hey guys, it’s time for the second episode as Miyake Girls’ High School have greeted their rivals for the upcoming Miyakejima Tourist Trophy race. Then again, I’m not sure if the first episode is actually the main race, which the winning team will go to the United Kingdom and compete at the Isle of Man TT.
With that said, the teams are ready for the upcoming race, but not all of them are keen on working together. Seems that both Yuri Miyata and Megumi Meguro are not the only ones who bicker at each other all the time…
Take Suzuka Girls’ Academy’s Chiyuki Shiohara and Misaki Nagai where both of them are pretty much distant, status-wise. They’re the rich girl/poor girl duo and Misaki is not pleased when it comes to her driver Chiyuki.
In fact, Misaki Nagai was forced to join the sidecar club as Chiyuki Shiohara threatened to expose Misaki’s part-time work, something that Suzuka Girls’ Academy are not allowed their students to do so.
And while Chiyuki will pay her passenger as compensation, Misaki doesn’t like it at all because she’s being treated as some expendable or anything that’s demoralizing. I must say that this duo is more interesting than the main one.
Speaking of Yuri Miyata and Megumi Meguro, they still hate each other because of Coach Tanahashi. C’mon, both girls are in love with their coach and they want to win the Miyakejima TT in order to go to Isle of Man!
Anyways, I’m hoping that next week would feature another team which has the same trust issues.

I think this ep actually takes place before the first ep. The teams are already there in the first ep, while they’re shown arriving in this ep. Really an odd narrative choice.
I suspect the season will cover the racing season, with the Big Race (and the chance to go to the Isle of Man) in the finale.
