This week’s episode feels a bit normal, but I’ll have to tell you that both Chito and Yuuri felt an ominous presence beyond this hallway.
That’s because both girls encountered a giant construction quadruped robot. Yeah, it’s a scary sight to behold and the girls might get crushed if they go closer to it.
Fortunately, Chi-chan and Yuu got away from the robot, but I feel that it’ll come back to haunt them.
Now then, the girls are now going deeper into some sort of a production facility.
While there’s no indication on whether it’s operational or not (let alone having people there), I think it’s worth checking it out.
Eventually, they went inside the facility to find a single fish in a tank. Sure that they saw it back in Episode 2, but Yuu wants to eat it again because it’s tasty.
Unfortunately, Yuuri’s attempts to eat the fish was halted when something mechanical approached to them.
Turns out that it’s another robot, but it’s a smaller size and has human-like intelligence. Oh and this robot told the girls, especially Yuu, to leave the fish alone.
In any case, seems that Chi-chan and Yuu will have to listen for this robot’s advice for the time being.
But in exchange though, the silver-colored robot gave them a place to wash themselves and their clothes. Yeah, at least the robot is not programmed to kill humans or Yuu will be forced to shoot it down.
Still, both girls are doing fine as Yuu swims above a fish tank while Chi-chan washes her uniform.
And speaking of Yuuri, it seems that she’s feeding the fish instead of attempting to capture and roast it.
Well, I have to say that Yuu is developing some empathy towards the fish as she wants to let it live. Sadly, their peaceful days are over…
…when this construction quadruped robot arrived not only to construct things, but instead dismantle the facility.
And while the silver-colored robot tried to talk it over, it looks like the giant robot is dead set on destroying everything. This is not good as there’s a fish living inside the tank.
With no options for negotiation, the silver-colored robot decided to stop its giant counterpart with bombs.
Well, I have to say that while this robot wants to let its giant cousin live, it appears that it made a tough decision to dismantle the quadruped robot as it’ll threaten the fish’s life.
With that in mind, it’s time for Chito and Yuuri to plant bombs on top of the robot, although Yuu is doing the dangerous work of jumping towards its back…
…and place TNTs in vulnerable areas. It’s a risky job, but Yuu can do it since she’s the brawn to Chi-chan’s brain.
Speaking of Chito, she’s here to detonate the TNT in a safe position once Yuu got out of the robot’s back.
And there it goes as the giant quadruped robot went down with only a handful of TNT.
Yeah, it’s sad to say that it might be dangerous as it dismantles things, but this robot served its purpose and therefore it’s up to those girls to end its life.
But as for the silver-colored robot and the fish, they’ll live much longer. Of course, they’ll eventually met their end very soon…
And that’s about it for this episode of Girls’ Last Tour and man, it was an intense episode where the girls are dealing with a giant robot that’s about to crush them. On the other hand, it’s nice to see that it talked about the concept of life, regardless of whether it’s a human, an animal, or even a machine. Still, I feel that Chito and Yuuri’s journey will end at some point and it’ll be sad to see it happening.
In any case, looks like I’m done for this episode as I’m ready for the next one!
