Winter 2017: The rest of the field…

This post is brought you by Hoshiiro Girldrop, an anime adaptation of Takeshobo’s shoujo manga where the male character Daichi Taira will be taking care of three idols, including his sister Sosogu.

In any case, let’s hope that things will look good for Hoshiiro Girldrop!

01. Pop Team Epic

Just kidding, as if Hoshiiro Girldrop will feature for Winter 2017 as Pop Team Epic takes over with a bang!

This is an anime adaptation of an absurd gag manga that’s storming up recently. Basically, Pop Team Epic is a bad show to watch it seriously, but it’s so damn good to laugh your ass out that so many memes were created upon airing of the first episode.

Nothing to say much about this series but expect lots of jokes in future episodes, mostly crude humor where Popuko and Pipimi will flip you out!

02. Mitsuboshi Colors

Next up is Mitsuboshi Colors where it’s an anime adaptation of a manga serialized in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh. It’s a story of three girls named Sat-chan, Yui, and Kotoha are protecting the peace of their hometown from anything that’ll threaten it.

I have to say that it’s a good slice-of-life show from SILVER LINK, which is not surprising since they did Non Non Biyori. Expect cuteness from beginning to end where these three girls that form the peace-keeping group Colors will take various errands and other stuff.

03. Gakuen Babysitters

Moving onto Gakuen Babysitters where it’s a nice heartwarming story about Ryuuichi Kashima taking care of his little brother Kotarou and other kids at the school’s daycare center. After losing their parents on a plane crash, the Kashima brothers were taken by the chairwoman of Morinomiya Academy in exchange for Ryuuichi spending his free time at the daycare center.

In any case, this show is not only cute since it has cute kids playing around, but it’s also a story of how Ryuuichi Kashima and his brother Kotarou are doing their best to help each other despite the loss of their parents. In fact, Ryuuichi and Kotarou cried near the end of this episode where they realized that their parents won’t return. On the other hand, Chairwoman Yoko Morinomiya understands their plight as she comforts them, which is a nice thing that she still cares despite being a strict chairwoman of the academy.

With that said, watching Gakuen Babysitters will make you feel good and I’m hoping Ryuuichi will get some help because taking care of the kids at the daycare center is tough work!

04. Osomatsu-san

And now, let’s end this post with the return of Osomatsu-san as Choromatsu changes himself for the new year… and blame Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu for forcing himself to change his hair color because of some punishment game, even though he took upon it by himself. What a douchebag!

Also, there’s a segment dedicated to Sanematsu-san where he spends his time with the Matsuno sextuplets, only to reveal that Sanematsu living with the sextuplets was all just a dream as he actually died. For all the gloom that he suffered in his life, Sanematsu deserves a hug because he needed someone who understands him. Man, we’ll sure gonna miss him…

Anyways, that’s about it for the rest of the shows airing in Winter 2017 as I’ll tell you to enjoy the last cour of the 2017 Anime Season!
