This post is brought you by Warau Salesman NEW as I finally finished up after sitting on my backlog for more than a year! I must say that it was an experience watching Moguro Fukuzou and his attempts to fill those holes on those lonely hearts, but they’re either stupid or even ungrateful that they got screwed over! Oh, and if you’re one of the unlucky ones, Moguro will flat out troll you because it amuses him. Seriously, don’t fuck with Fukuzou!
Anyways, time to end Spring 2018 with my thoughts on both shows. I mean, the only ones I’ve picked up back in April are My Hero Academia Season 3 and Gundam Build Divers.
01. My Hero Academia
Let’s start with My Hero Academia where I must say that it’s one roller-coaster ride leading up to the halfway point, with All Might and his fellow heroes facing against the League of Villains where its leader, the wielder of All For One, has arrived to settle the score against the Symbol of Justice.
Although Izuku “Deku” Midoriya managed to rescue Katsuki Bakugou with the help of his classmates, the main event will be the final battle between All Might and the wielder of All For One. Fortunately, the Symbol of Justice prevailed as he used all of his strength to defeat the leader of the villains. While it’s sucks that All Might (or Toshinori Yagi) will have to retire due to using all of his remaining strength, as there’s still some threat from the villains with Tomura Shiragaki taking over the League of Villains, which turned out to be the son of the former wielder of One For All, Nana Shimura.
Gotta say that BONES got me hyped during the rescue mission and it’s satisfying to see not only Bakugou rescued thanks to Deku and his friends, but seeing All Might beating the wielder of All For One was the most awesome thing ever that it teared me up quite a lot. Now then, the only thing that Midoriya can do is to become the successor to All Might!
02. Gundam Build Divers
And finally, let’s end this post with Gundam Build Divers where Riku Mikami and the rest of Build Divers have joined a major operation led by Kyouya Kujo on getting rid of all Break Decals once and for all. Although it was a successful operation with Riku’s Gundam 00 Diver Ace getting a miracle thanks to Sarah’s mysterious powers, it wasn’t over as Riku will have to deal with the mastermind of the Mass-Divers which happened to be Koichi Nanase’s friend Tsukasa Shiba.
And while Riku managed to beat Tsukasa in a Gunpla Duel (which is similar to Gundam Build Fighters) at the cost of 00 Diver Ace, most of the players who’ve used Break Decals got away scot-free as the admin of Gunpla Battle Nexus couldn’t find them.
Well, this series got a bit dark due to some guy who hates Gunpla Battle Nexus tries to destroy it by pumping viruses, just because no one wants to play Gunpla Duel anymore. While Tsukasa Shiba will return, I feel that Gunpla Battle Nexus was saved thanks to Sarah and really, she’s gonna get targeted soon because she’s either an anomaly or a manifestation of GBN’s security system.
Anyways, let’s end this post with a lovely fanart of the Iowa-class battleship from Kantai Collection, which is perfect for United States’ Day of Independence. C’mon, that’s one of the characters I can pick of to celebrate 4th of July!
Speaking of July, get ready for new shows (plus sequels) during Summer 2018! Happy 4th of July, United States of America!
