Harukana Receive Episode #09

Oh look, it’s Akari Ooshiro as she’s feeling down at the moment. Why is that if you may ask?

Well, it turns out that the bracket for the upcoming qualifiers has been released and she’s worried that the beach volleyball club might fight each other to claim the spot for the national tournament.

So, Akari asked Ayasa Tachibana for help. But you know what, I think Shii-chan should tell the truth as Ayasa advised her that honesty is the best policy.

In any case, Akari told the truth that the Haruka/Kanata pair and the Thomas sisters might face each other in the finals to earn the spot for the national tournament. And by the way, Emily and Claire Thomas, plus Haruka Oozora has one last chance to play for the nationals.

So, Akari Ooshiro decided to gave them scrunchies and told them that she still loves the beach volleyball club no matter the results may be.

For Team HaruKana and Eclair, they appreciate Shii-chan’s sincerity as the rest of the beach volleyball club assured her that they’ll remain friends forever.

Yeah, I hope that there are no hard feelings if one team wins to earn the spot!

Anyways, looks like Uruma High School’s beach volleyball club will be ready for the Okinawa qualifiers as they’ll train hard to meet Narumi Tooi and Ayasa Tachibana in the national tournament!

Now then, it’s time for the qualifiers as Ai Tanahara and Mai Sunagawa have returned, although they’re not competing together anymore because Ai has graduated high school while Mai will just watch the entire tournament.

As for the qualifiers itself, Team HaruKana and Eclair have managed to get past the first round so it’s all good so far.

Meanwhile, it seems that Haruka Oozora and Kanata Higa will face the Aragaki sisters, Kanna and Youna.

Anyways, the Aragaki sisters wants a revenge match against the Thomas sisters because they don’t like losing to them.

Of course, both Kanna and Youna will have to get past both Haruka and Kanata first. Sadly for the Aragaki sisters, looks like they’re in for a surprise!

But thanks to their training with Marissa Thomas, both Haruka Oozora and Kanata Higa have won their second round against the Aragaki sisters.

As you can see, Haruka can block shots effectively, including Kanna’s topspin spike. Gotta say that Haruka and Kanata improved a lot!

With that said, I think we’ll leave this episode right here as Haruka Oozora made a cut shot that’ll secure a win against the Aragaki sisters!

Anyways, next episode will be the final match for the qualifiers where Haruka and Kanata will face off against the Thomas sisters. Remember, there are no hard feelings afterwards!
