This is it, the final episode of Märchen Mädchen as Arthur Pendragon and her allies are gonna destroy the Fleck once and for all.
And I have to say that they’re gonna throw everything at the monster, but the likes of Mahakali and Shizuka Tsuchimikado will have to be careful as the Fleck can devour them.
In fact, the Fleck can not only transform into Agathe Arier, but also Lynne Daves as well.
And it gets worse when the Fleck can use magic from either Agathe or Lynne. In the case of the latter, the Fleck summoned a cerberus which doesn’t match up with Lynne’s Origin of The Little Match Girl.
Good thing the cerberus is destroyed but the Fleck has another trick up its sleeve.
As you can see here, the Fleck uses Der Freischutz’s ultimate attack which is known as The Seventh Bullet.
Anyways, this attack can destroy everything in a single shot, meaning that the Fleck can destroy the library easily.
However, there’s a downside to it as The Seventh Bullet will ricochet back to the Fleck and destroy itself.
And thanks to The Seventh Bullet, the Fleck’s core is exposed which means that the only way to destroy it is by using Kaguya-hime’s ultimate spell.
Of course, Shizuka Tsuchimikado will have some help from Arthur Pendragon as she channels her magic to Shizuka.
With that said, it’s game over for the Fleck but that would kill both Agathe Arier and Lynne Daves. Basically, it won’t have a happy ending.
Well, we’ll change that as Hazuki Kagimura has returned in the real-world to set things right, although Sachi Hino got hurt a bit once Hazuki landed on her.
But let’s get on with Kagimura’s final gambit which will be the Glass Heart, but that would destroy Hazuki if she used it alone.
That’s when Hazuki asked everyone to lend her powers to perform a miracle that would save both Lynne Daves and Agathe Arier. Even the Committee are stunned to see Kagimura’s sorcery.
Anyways, Hazuki Kagimura used Glass Heart to pull both Mädchens out from the Fleck’s core.
Of course, her two hands are not enough to pull them out, so therefore Hazuki got some extra hands from her friends to save Agathe and Lynne from the Fleck.
Thanks to Kagimura and her allies, they managed to rescue Lynne Daves and Agathe Arier from the Fleck. I gotta say that Hazuki pulled a miracle.
This leaves Shizuka Tsuchimikado to drop the moon onto the Fleck and destroy it once and for all.
But yes, this is what I called a happier ending as nobody died and the evil is vanquished for good.
Well, the only casualty is Kuzunoha Girls’ Magic Academy which means that there won’t be any classes for the time being.
And now, it’s time for the epilogue as things went back to normal, almost as if it’s just a dream.
Actually, the only thing is real is that Shizuka Tsuchimikado is here to pay a visit.
For Hazuki Kagimura, she’s happy that her friend has arrived to keep her company. Even Misa and Saeko-san are surprised to see Shizuka up-close.
Oh yeah, it appears that Shizuka Tsuchimikado look at the family photo of Hazuki Kagimura and her late biological mother.
Sure that I’ve seen her before but something tells me that Hazuki’s mother has a secret. I guess we’ll get into that later.
For now, Shizuka told Hazuki that the Hexennacht tournament didn’t have a winner because of the Fleck disaster. Basically, it’s cancelled but the Committee should have listened to Principal Sugami on cancelling the tournament.
Man, I blame politics for letting the Hexennacht tournament continue until it was too late, especially when James Daves is involved on using the Fleck as a weapon of mass destruction. Still, it’s over now so what happened to Agathe Arier and Lynne Daves.
First off, Agathe Arier is okay as she survived with minor injuries. For Agathe’s allies, they felt a sigh of relief that their leader is alive.
Of course, it’s unfortunate that Team Germany didn’t win the Hexennacht tournament but who cares about that, there’s still next year and the only thing important is everyone is safe.
Speaking of Lynne Daves, she’s alive but I feel that her adoptive father won’t remember that he has two daughters.
But that’s okay ’cause Angelina Daves is there to support her, as well as the likes of Yumilia Qazan and the rest of the Team America. Anyways, I feel that the sisters will start over a new leaf.
One last thing before we go, Shizuka Tsuchimikado wants to show something important to her towards Hazuki Kagimura. As always, only Mädchens can enter this secret space.
With that said, this is the place where Shizuka’s mother fought the Fleck and died 7 years ago. Even then, the effect still lingers to this day.
Still, Shizuka Tsuchimikado visits this place to pay her respects or when she’s in doubt. Of course, Hazuki Kagimura doesn’t want this place to remain barren for eternity.
And thus, she decides to use the Origin of Cinderella to perform one last miraculous magic. Then again, restoring this area would take its toll on her body.
Still, Hazuki doesn’t care as she believes that miracles do happen. Let’s hope that her magic can revert this barren wasteland back to its original glory.
On the other hand, Kagimura’s magic has spread far and wide. Even Arthur Pendragon felt that Hazuki made the impossible possible.
Anyways, Hazuki Kagimura’s Glass Heart has restored this place where flowers bloom once again. Not only that, but Hazuki survived so this means that she can be with Shizuka Tsuchimikado for the rest of their lives.
Oh yeah, here’s Principal Sugami where she was supposed to pay her respects to Shizuka’s mother, but instead saw a ghost.
Said ghost happened to be the original owner of the Origin of Cinderella. And here’s the thing that struck me is that not only Principal Sugami knows her, but there’s a possibility that the original Cinderella owner happened to be Hazuki’s biological mother.
Could it be that Hazuki Kagimura is destined to become a Mädchen all along? It’s definitely a possibility. Heck, I have a theory that she also helped Shizuka’s mother to stop the Fleck disaster 7 years ago. Then again, I’m getting ahead of myself when it comes to theories but who knows, it might be true all along.
Anyways, that’s the end of Märchen Mädchen where everyone lived happily ever after. Glad that Hoods Entertainment managed to finish the series after a long delay.
Then again, this anime show is not that spectacular due to the production delays but hey, what’s important is that we’ve reached the happy ending!
