Fall 2019: The rest of the field… 2nd Half!

This episode is brought you by the new Build Divers (stylized as “BUILD DiVERS”) from Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise where Hiroto and his allies are getting their hands dirty with its brand-new story missions. Said story mission involves stopping the Death Army from destroying various villages which are inhabited by animal-based NPDs.

With that said, we’ve reached the halfway mark of Fall 2019 and while it’s already late for most people, I have to cover some shows that I’ve missed because the world is currently dealing with a pandemic. I hope it doesn’t get any worse.

01. Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise

But let’s start with Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise and while Hiroto Kuga and his 3 new allies are enough to stop the Death Army from terrorizing the villagers, I believe that they need one more member to make it effective much like the original Build Divers where it has 5 players.

Speaking of the new Build Divers, not only that they’ll deal with a mysterious Gunpla who strike fear into every NPDs, but also their own problems as they don’t play like a team. While Parviz managed to conquer his fears, others like Kazami and Hiroto needs to sort things out. For example, Kazami’s obsession with Captain Zeon might put his teammates into harm’s way if he can’t act responsibly, while Hiroto has some trust issues as he preferred to work alone. Oh yeah and as for May? I feel that she’s hiding something…

One last thing, why I have no idea of where this mysterious Gunpla came from, one thing that bugs me the most is how did the Death Army came to existence? Was the Break Decals manifest itself to become lingering bugs within GBN? I guess I have to find out in the end but for now, the new Build Divers need to become a true force first!

02. Kandagawa Jet Girls

Next up is Kandagawa Jet Girls where Rin Namiki and Misa Aoi formed a team together and met various rivals along the way. But still, they have to deal with their own weaknesses while strengthening their bonds together if Rin and Misa will pose a threat towards the Kandagawa Cup, which I doubt that the series will show us the biggest race.

Regardless, Kandagawa Jet Girls doesn’t take it seriously when it comes to the plot ’cause like I said before, it’s full of tits and asses where you’ll want to have a boner and wank all day. Don’t do that when your parents are around, okay? Anyways, I hope Rin and Misa will get stronger until the final episode.

03. My Hero Academia

And finally, let’s end this post with My Hero Academia where the first story arc of this 4th Season has reached its halfway point as the Big 3 of U.A. High School, plus a few selected students from Class 1-A, are now involved in stopping Kai Chisaki and the rest of Shie Hassaikai from using Eri to erase Quirks of all heroes, all while distributing boosting drugs towards villains in order to power up their Quirks to unstable levels. Of course, Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villains doesn’t want to be upstaged by a yakuza organization even though they formed a shaky partnership.

Now then, I have to say that the build-up towards the confrontation against Overhaul and his goons is very tense in which some are affected emotionally, especially both Mirio Togata and Izuku Midoriya where they have regrets on not saving Eri from Kai Chisaki’s grasp. Well to be fair, they couldn’t make their move when Overhaul is around so if they try to save Eri during that time, Lemillion and Deku might get in big trouble.

Still, they won’t make those same mistakes again as Mirio and Izuku will save Eri this time. Then again, they need the help of various veteran heroes in order to make their rescue mission a success.

One more thing before I go, I just want to say that during the lead-up to the big confrontation against Shie Hassaikai, I’m very impressed towards Eijiro Kirishima where he stop a villain on his own as Red Riot… or should I say Red Riot Unbreakable where his Hardening Quirk has evolved.

Of course, I feel that Kirishima got some story to tell as he’s not just Katsuki Bakugou’s friend. Maybe in future episodes, I might see Eijiro’s backstory plus giving some focus on various heroes in U.A. High School so I can’t wait for it.

Anyways, tune in next time for the finale of Fall 2019!
