This episode is brought you by Non Non Biyori as the series have a 1-hour film set in Okinawa. It’s great to see Hotaru Ichijo and her friends having a vacation in Okinawa where they not only met new people there, but also do various activities like diving and kayaking. Of course, you may thank Suguru Koshigaya for winning the lottery but then again, he still doesn’t talk at all.
By the way, I’m happy that there’s a 3rd season of Non Non Biyori so I’m looking forward to watch it, but for now it’s time for me to talk about 2 shows that I’ve picked up in Fall 2020.
01. Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka?
Let’s start off with DanMachi where after watching the 3rd season, I have to say that it’s the most serious season ever where it makes my blood boil.
For one, turns out that Wiene is not the only monster who can talk as there’s a sub-species existed within the dungeon called the Xenos, which is secretly being taken care of by the mysterious god Ouranos although his divine protection has some limits. You see, the Xenos are being hunted by the Ikelos Familia where they’re being sold to the black market and while the god is just observing his familia, Dix Perdix and his goons are the ones who are poaching these monsters because they’re getting insane due to Daedalus’ will to finish the labyrinth Knossos.
Fortunately, Bell Cranel and his allies managed to save the Xenos from the Ikelos Familia, the Loki Familia, and Hermes surprisingly enough where this god wants to kill a few monsters in order to keep the status quo and he almost succeeded if it wasn’t for a certain minotaur throwing his plans under the rug. As for Wiene, she suffered countless abuse from Dix Perdix where he turned Wiene into a fully-fledged monster by taking out the crystal from her forehead, which she becomes a big target for adventurers. While she got better thanks to Fels’ revival magic, I fuckin’ hate Dix and his goons for torturing the Xenos. Fortunately, Dix got killed by Asterius while his familia got annihilated in the end.
Regardless, DanMachi is getting better as Bell’s journey moves forward where he overcome various challenges ahead. Then again, I don’t know how long will J.C.Staff continue with this series.
02. Osomatsu-san
Moving onto Osomatsu-san where the Matsuno sextuplets got robots that will help them remake their lives into efficient human beings. Nicknamed as both Shake and Ume, I was under the impression that they’re gonna replace the sextuplets since they don’t like NEETs, but instead they fail to remake Osomatsu and the rest as the robots are replaced by an efficient one named Sukeroku. Speaking of Sukeroku, I don’t know what this robot’s agenda is but Sukeroku promised to the sextuplets that they’ll get laid soon enough.
Other than that, it looks like the first half of Osomatsu-san Season 3 is doing good so far as it’s still hilarious despite being set in the Reiwa Era. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that Nyaa Hashimoto has become a mother, although it’s sucks that her husband left her. Poor Choromatsu…
But that’s the end of the rest of shows aired in Fall 2020 as I move onto Winter!
