Well now, it appears that Grinahae Antgadull got some unexpected guests in his mansions. Oh who could that be?
Turns out that Prince Wein Salema Arbalest and his bodyguards are here for negotiations, although Grinahae won’t forgive Wein for Geralt’s accidental death.
But let’s cut to the chase as Prince Wein told Marquis Grinahae to hand over the evidence regarding the rebellion and surrender. Otherwise, the prince will put the blame on Geralt, something that Grinahae won’t accept that.
Oh, and if someone tries to wipe any kind of evidence, especially when Owl is involved, Nanaki Ralei will take care of those who dare to erase everything.
Gotta say that Prince Wein thought of everything, although he needs to deal with Grinahae’s mysterious advisor.
Fortunately, Owl has appeared to take Wein’s head with a spear, although the prince dodged Owl’s attack where it really was a close call for him.
Honestly, Owl should use a parrying knife to disarm the prince.
Speaking of Prince Wein, it appears that he learned how to distract his enemies by throwing a poisonous kunai at Owl, even though the truth is that there’s no poison at the tip.
With that said, Prince Wein cut Owl’s right arm cleanly as this advisor is defeated. It would be worse if Wein cut Owl’s other arm for good measure, but that’s the end of the line for Owl as he flees.
And now, it’s time to deal with Grinahae Antgadull where the marquis decided to fight back rather than surrendering to Prince Wein. Unfortunately, the prince has another surprise for the marquis…
You see, Prince Wein Salema Arbalest prepared a 500-man army to take the marquis’ head should Grinahae Antgadull refused to give up.
And it gets worse for him where Princess Lowellmina Earthworld brought the cavalry from the Earthworld Empire. Basically, the marquis can’t escape now.
Oh by the way, Lowellmina’s advisor told the marquis that both the Earthworld Empire and the Kingdom of Natra are conducting a joint military exercise. A great excuse to hide the fact that they’re stopping the marquis from rebelling against the empire.
Now, Marquis Grinahae is at the mercy of Princess Lowellmina where he begs for forgiveness over his plans for rebellion. But seriously, rebelling against the Earthworld Empire is a bad idea.
And so, Marquis Grinahae Antgadull surrendered to the Earthworld Empire where the only punishment he’ll receive is a reduction of fortune. It’s better than losing his head.
As for Princess Lowellmina Earthworld, she’ll return home but the princess won’t give up on taking the imperial throne from her brothers.
One last thing, it appears that Ninym Ralei is really curious if Princess Lowellmina has romantic feelings for Prince Wein. C’mon, her attempt at marrying the prince is more than just political gain.
Speaking of Princess Lowellmina, I think she’s most likely in love with the prince as Lowellmina is blushing and shaking like crazy. Still, I wish her good luck on becoming an empress.
But that’s about it for this episode and while we’ll see Princess Lowellmina again, I’m curious about Owl where this mysterious advisor from the west might be working for someone who tries to destabilize the entire continent of Varno. Anyways, I’ll see you next time!
