Well everyone, it seems that the nobles are still talking bad things to Princess Anisphia Wynn Palettia behind her back despite being reinstated as the heir to the throne. In short, they would rather have someone with magic than a princess whose magicology is useless.
Honestly though, I think the entire nobility should be executed for sticking to tradition where magic is important. But even if these pricks berated her, Anis remained committed as the heir to the throne as it’s the only thing she has.
Anyways, let’s move onto the next scene where Princess Anisphia was called by both King Orfans and Queen Sylphine as they want their daughter to meet an important person.
That’s right, it’s Miss Lumi where she has something important to tell, aside from attempting to make a contract with Duke Grantz Magenta back in the day.
Turns out that her real name is Lumielle René Palettia, meaning that she’s actually Anis’ ancestor. Oh yes, Lumielle is actually an immortal and there’s a reason why she has it.
Anyways, it’s revealed that Lumielle René Palettia had a great time in her life as she fell in love with a prince consort.
Unfortunately, those happy moments won’t last forever as the prince consort died of old age. It’s even worse for Lumielle where not only her body is transformed into a spirit, but her memories disappeared as well.
In any case, it was a tragic story for Lumielle René Palettia where she became an immortal spirit in exchange for her memories and humanity. Because of her circumstances, Duke Grantz Magenta refused to become a spirit just like Lumielle as he’ll lose his memories in exchange for becoming the next king of Palettia.
However, things are different in the present where Miss Lumi selects Euphyllia Magenta as her successor due to her compatibility with spirits.
Not only that, but Euphie is really aware of the consequences of becoming a spirit, therefore she’s prepared to forge a contact with Lumielle, become a spirit, and take over Anis’ role as the heir apparent.
For King Orfans Von Palettia, he was pretty shocked that Euphyllia Magenta would take the risk in becoming both a spirit and the future queen of the kingdom.
However, the only person who won’t approve Euphyllia’s decision is Princess Anisphia where she doesn’t want to lose everything, from her right as the heir apparent, to her dear friend who will become a spirit in exchange for her memories.
I have to say that it’s a reversal of roles this time around where in the beginning, Anis saved Euphie from her lowest point in her life. Now, Euphie wants to save Anis from her terrible fate.
By the way, I forgot to mention that Lainie Cyan has become one of Ilia Coral’s apprentice maids. Regardless, it’s sad that Anisphia is at her lowest point in her life when she learned about Euphyllia’s decision.
Luckily, there’s Tilty Claret where she’ll support Anisphia Wynn Palettia through thick and thin, even as far as offering her an umbrella as Tilty doesn’t want Princess Anis getting soaked in the rain.
Also, Tilty took Anis into her mansion as she plans to take the princess somewhere far away where she can study magicology without being scrutinized by everybody.
Of course, it’s not easy for Anis to abandon her role as the princess and the heir apparent as she doesn’t want her home country collapse due to not having a suitable heir to the throne. Then again, there’s Euphyllia who will do anything to save her friend’s happiness by become the next queen.
And speaking of Euphie, she’s finally arrived at Tilty’s mansion as she’s worried about her friend Anis.
But anyways, looks like Tilty Claret will have to leave the room so that these two girls can have a heart-to-heart talk.
And so, it’s time for Anis and Euphie to talk each other where the former still insists that she doesn’t want the latter become a spirit and inherit the kingdom.
Unfortunately for Euphie, she’s really determined to sacrifice her humanity in order to restore her friend’s happiness, even as far as challenging Anis to a duel in order to get what she wants for her friend’s sake.
In any case, it was an emotional episode where the truth about Miss Lumi has been revealed and it’s really scary that being a spirit has some drawbacks. Even so, I have to give props to Euphyllia for her bravery to save Anisphia as she really wants her friend to continue her magicology research.
Anyways, tune in next time for the final episode. Let’s hope that Anis and Euphie won’t get hurt in their upcoming duel!
