Oh my goodness, Mr. Pig regained consciousness after being stabbed by that swindling ristae seller, yet how did he managed to survive the knife stab?
Well, it’s because Jess used the only black rista to heal Mr. Pig. Also, Jess carried Mr. Pig as she’s not planning to return to House Kiltyrin.
Now I’m really surprised that Jess would save Mr. Pig’s life even though the swine tries to sacrifice his own life to save a Yethma from being murdered.
With that said, Jess and Mr. Pig are on a journey to reach the royal capital no matter what obstacles will throw at them. I mean, there’s no turning back.
And speaking of the royal capital, this large mountain might be the capital itself. However, no one knows what lies there upon reaching the royal capital as only a few people went there.
Of course, there are Yethma hunters who capture and slaughter them for money. While they sold body parts in the black market, the most valuable of all is their collar where it holds tremendous amount of magic.
In any case, Mr. Pig will have to use his wits to save Jess from Yethma hunters, although I’m worried that he might get slaughtered first.
Speaking of hunters, I think this guy is looking at Mr. Pig with not only disgust, but he’s planning to take out Jess while the swine is away. But yeah, they need to be careful when talking to other people.
Now then, looks like Jess is wearing a scarf to hide her Yethma collar as Mr. Pig suggested it, although the choice of color is a bit questionable as some people might notice that Jess is hiding her collar.
But before they venture out to the royal capital, they need to eat first as Jess and Mr. Pig are really hungry. So, they went to a pub where this young lady will give them a meal.
Also accompanying the old lady is a Yethma named Ceres who is a waitress, although Ceres couldn’t talk to Mr. Pig telepathically.
By the way, the pub has a collar hanged in the wall. While I thought that this pub is actually hiding hunters, ready to pounce Jess at any given moment, the owner doesn’t do that as she keeps Yethmas from being hunted down.
Anyways, the collar belonged to a Yethma named Eise who was killed by hunters after stepping out of the covenant located in Baptsaze. As for the collar, one of the hunters had a change of heart and gave Eise’s collar to the pub owner rather than selling it for money.
Oh yes, about the covenant in Baptsaze. Turns out that there was a tragic event 5 years ago when some malicious person set the covenant on fire, killing everyone including Yethmas who wants to live peacefully there.
It’s really sad that the Yethma people are being hunted down like animals and this tragic fire at the covenant exemplifies the horrible treatment of them.
With that said, looks like Jess and Mr. Pig are done eating at the pub as they’re ready to head towards Baptsaze until they finally reach the royal capital.
