By the way, there’s more bad news as the English College will remain closed till the end of the year, meaning that Chise and her friends will be spending their Christmas inside the campus until the culprit is captured.
Now then, looks like the Winter Goddess has arrived as she and her centaur companion is searching for Chise Hatori. I wonder what the goddess seeks for Chise and why?
Unfortunately for the Winter Goddess, Silky gave her an answer where Chise still hasn’t returned to the countryside as she’s still in the English College, although the Silver Lady is trying to defend herself from the goddess’ wrath.
And speaking of the Winter Goddess and her centaur companion, they decided to leave for now. Man, I wonder if Chise Hatori is still okay inside the English College?
Oh wait, turns out that she’s still alive as Chise Hatori tries to peek into Lucy Webster’s past. She already saw Josef’s troublesome past, so Chise won’t have any difficulty in looking into someone’s history.
Anyways, Chise saw these familiar monsters. That’s right, the wolfmen where they’re arguing on whether to spare a certain survivor or not.
And said survivor happened to be Lucy Webster as the wolfmen spared her life. Had Lucy got perished by these monsters, Chise’s life inside the College might be different.
Meanwhile, there’s another girl who apologize towards the victims. I wonder if this girl is actually Philomela Sargant?
Regardless, I have no doubts that the Sargant family, specifically Lizbeth, is involved in the massacre of the Webster clan, although I’m puzzled on whether if it has to do with The Testament of Carnamagos or something else.
Now then, let’s move onto the present where Chise Hatori made some runes as good-luck charm.
And speaking of runes, Chise chose the Thurisaz rune as it symbolizes thorns, very fitting for Chise as she’s being associated with thorns due to various curses inside her body.
Anyways, Chise Hatori already gave the runes to her classmates. Now, she’ll have to give the last rune to Philomela Sargant.
Of course, Philomela is still feeling under the weather, therefore Chise told Alcyone to pass this rune to her once she’s okay.
Meanwhile, here’s another scene where it shows what appears to be Philomela’s father Adam, defying his mother’s wishes.
Speaking of Adam Sargant and his wife Iris, I have a bad feeling that Lizbeth gave them a horrible death after Adam told his mom not to meddle in his life.
Oh and as for Lizbeth Sargant, regardless on whether she punish her own son through death or something else, Lizbeth is still yearning to bring Adam back by any means.
But let’s return to the English College where Philomela managed to get a hold of Chise’s rune.
However, she decides to swallow the rune whole. Man, I’m pretty terrified regarding Philomela’s action, but this is just the tip of the iceberg…
Turns out that Philomela Sargant pulled a book from Alcyone’s body. Wait a minute, that’s The Testament of Carnamagos!
Now I’m really curious on how that cursed book end up in Alcyone’s body ’cause I bet that Lizbeth Sargant has an accomplice.
But let’s return to Philomela Sargant where she’s about to do something horrible to Veronica Rickenbacker. You see, she’s hungry for more mana!
And it’s not just Veronica, but various students and staff are being targeted by Philomela as Rian Scrimgeour found an unconscious Sigrid Wachmann.
At this point, Rian should run away as he might get targeted by his childhood-
Oh no, Rian Scrimgeour got caught by Philomela Sargant as she drains his magic energy.
At this point, Philomela might drain all of the students and staff inside the College completely, or getting killed by the headmistress.
Of course, Headmistress Liza Quillyn and her teaching staff are ready to confront Philomela Sargant and take the cursed book back to where it belongs, even if they’ll have to kill Philomela to take it all back.
Well then, looks like the Christmas party at the English College has been officially cancelled as the culprit has finally appeared.
And one last thing, it appears that Rian Scrimgeour has regained consciousness, although he might not have enough time to save Philomela Sargant from her terrible fate… unless Chise Hatori and Elias Ainsworth intervened. Anyways, tune in next time!
