Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e Season 3 Episode #02

Let’s begin with Rokusuke Kouenji where he managed to wrestle a boar during his free time. Well, everyday is free time for this enigmatic fellow.

And speaking of Kouenji, it appears that he knows some secrets regarding Kiyotaka Ayanokouji. Could it be that Rokusuke is actually a participant in the infamous White Room? Who knows…

While Rokusuke Kouenji won’t help them since he’s a selfish prick, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji will have to deal with another potential problem.

And that’s Teruhiko “Keisei” Yukimura where he got a sprain in his right ankle. This is detrimental as Yukimura’s current health would be affected greatly in the upcoming test in which the last part is a marathon.

While they’ll blame Keisei-kun for failing due to his injury, I think they need to cut him some slack or they’ll get the boot soon.

Now then, it looks like Kiyotaka Ayanokouji noticed a keychain falling off. Did the female student accidentally drop the keychain or she did it on purpose?

Regardless, Ayanokouji gave the keychain back to the female student who happened to Nazuna Asahina, a 3rd-year student from A-Class.

Oh and speaking of Asahina, she knows more about Miyabi Nagumo as Nazuna-sempai told Kiyotaka that the student council president has his eyes set on Ayanokouji. Heck, she might give some tips on how to beat Nagumo, although that might not work at all.

You know something, I have a feeling that Nagumo sees Ayanokouji as either an ideal student that’s in line with his philosophy, or an adversary that might hinder his reign in the future.

In any case, Nazuna Asahina told Kiyotaka Ayanokouji that Miyabi Nagumo is gathering students who are loyal to him while eliminating others who follow Manabu Horikita. Well, this is quite interesting.

Now let’s return to Teruhiko Yukimura where despite being one of the smartest students, he’s frustrated that academics alone didn’t land him to A-Class as Keisei is stuck in the bottom of the barrel.

But as much as he’s crying in his sleep, will they understand Teruhiko’s frustrations?

In a surprising move, most of his groupmates sympathize Keisei, including Daichi Ishizaki in which he told Yukimura to take a rest for the upcoming marathon. Of course, Ishizaki wants Yukimura to carry his group in the written exams.

You know something, Daichi has mellowed out ever since he got his ass beaten by Kiyotaka Ayanokouji.

And speaking of Ayanokouji, he’s currently hiding under a tree as watching a secret meeting from a distance.

You got Kakeru Ryuuen, the disgraced leader of C-Class, who is meeting two important people…

It’s Manabu Horikita and Miyabi Nagumo where they’re discussing something. Sadly, Kiyotaka couldn’t make out from their conversation, although I have a feeling that Nagumo is wagering something against the former student council president.

Anyways, it’s time for the exams at the mountains and while Keisei played his part in helping his group in the academics test, the real meat will be the relay marathon where Teruhiko Yukimura mustered every energy to run towards his next teammate.

In any case, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji’s group managed to complete the tests with flying colors. Of course, they could have failed the test and get expelled should Rokusuke Kouenji acts like a total jerkass.

And now for the results where Manabu Horikita’s group got the highest score. Unfortunately, there’s one group who didn’t reach the passing threshold in which they’ll get expelled.

It’s the group under Momoko Ikari where she’s gonna designate a student who will get the axe as part of the procedure.

And that would be Akane Tachibana, one of Manabu Horikita’s supporters in which Momoko accused Akane of disrupting the harmony among the girls.

While Tachibana tries to defend herself with such allegations, it’s all part of Miyabi Nagumo’s plan to take out students who disagree with him.

And seriously, this guy is trying to turn Koudo Ikusei Senior High School into a battle royale where the strongest and most cunning will survive, meaning that there’s no room for kind and caring people within the institute.

With Akane Tachibana getting expelled soon, what will Manabu Horikita do?

Well, he’s gonna use his private points to overturn the ruling, meaning that Akane Tachibana will stay… unless the school decides to expel Tachibana anyways.

And by the way, Manabu used 90% or even 100% of his private points that he earned over the last 3 years just to save Akane. Whether he’ll earn it back before graduation is up for debate.

Regardless, it’s pretty clear that Miyabi Nagumo’s reign of terror has begun where anyone who doesn’t follow his ideas will get executed.

One last thing, here’s Kei Karuizawa where she asks Kiyotaka Ayanokouji on whether he’ll use his private points to save her from expulsion. While he’ll do anything to save Karuizawa, the best way for Ayanokouji is to outsmart everybody while maintaining his appearance as the “average” student in the campus.

But that’s the end of the training camp at the mountains as they’ll return to the campus on the next episode. I wonder what’s in store for the new student council president ’cause Nagumo has his sights on Ayanokouji?

This was a good set up episode for the mysteries to come. It’s a little odd that this season the tests are going to be so soon. With the first two seasons, the tests came at the end of the season and there was a really long build up.
